KAUAI HELICOPTER
TOURS

Approximately 80% of Kauai is uninhabited, remote and wild. A helicopter tour over Kauai reveals the incredible history, geology and beauty of the island.

Kauai, known as the “Garden Isle,” is the lushest and oldest of the Hawaiian Islands. This green and romantic isle has been the back-drop for countless Hollywood films.

Kauai is the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. The island rose from the floor of the Pacific Ocean about 5.1 million years ago. Exposure to the elements over millions of years carved out vast valleys and sculpted ridgelines, making the island topography quite different from that on the youngest island of Hawaii, a.k.a. the Big Island. Some areas of Kauai have countless waterfalls from the abundant annual rainfall, while others are quite dry and desert-like.

Notable regions on Kauai include Mount Waialeale , Waimea Canyon, and the Na Pali Coastline. All our Kauai helicopter flights take you to these locations, as well as other regions on the North Shore and interior of Kauai (weather permitting). Our Refuge Eco Tour extends the experience by landing at a remote, private location owned by the Robinson family, missionary descendants who also own the island of Niihau.

In The News: Safari Helicopters offers free flights to our Kupuna (Hawaiian for elder). Read the Garden Island story, Heaven Above.
