Volcano Safari Tour
Visit the world’s most active volcano! This flight departs from Hilo (with views of 13 thousand foot Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea when clouds permit) and flies directly to the most active volcanic areas at Pu’u O’o and/or Kilauea Volcano Area. Many of these features are remote and only accessible by air.

“Lava Adventure.
Another early day. After breakfast we headed to the airport for our helicopter tour of the volcanos with Safari Helicopters…We were lucky enough to actually see the lava running. It was quite an awesome experience to see the lava and its’ devastation from this viewpoint.”
